The Mary and James Harrison Foundation is offering land and mineral rights in a Jan. 31 auction to raise money for the charities it supports. Schrader Real Estate and Auction Co. will conduct the auction, which includes producing mineral interests in Garvin, McClain, Grady and Roger Mills counties, Okla.
The assets include 18 mineral packages and a 237-acre Rush Creek Bottomland farm in Garvin County, which will be offered in four tracts ranging from 17 to 160 acres.
"This is a very rare opportunity to purchase both land and mineral packages producing a six-month average cash flow of $196,376 per month," said Auction Manager Brent Wellings. Operators include Newfield Mid-Continent, Sheridan Production Co., Apache Corp., Merit Energy, Casillas Operating and Jones Energy.
The Mary and James Harrison Foundation funds a wide variety of causes, including scholarships, Christian mission organizations and relief organizations. Donations totaled $366,000 in 2018. "The sale of these assets will support the continuing work of helping fund these charities," said R.D. Schrader, president of the auction company.
Schrader personnel will be available at the property from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 30 to provide detailed information and accommodate inspections.
The auction will begin at 1 p.m. Jan. 31, at the Springs Event Venue, 27274 North Macarthur Ave., Blanchard, Okla. Online bidding will be available to those who register a week in advance. Bidders will be allowed to submit bids on any combination of assets, including the entirety.
