The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has retained EnergyNet to handle an online oil and gas lease sale covering the Permian Basin, San Juan Basin, South Texas and Midcontinent regions.
The BLM lease sale includes 114 parcels covering 89,320.27 acres and located in:
- Permian Basin region in southeast New Mexico in Chaves, Eddy and Lea counties;
- San Juan Basin region in McKinley, Rio Arriba, San Juan and Sandoval counties, N.M.;
- South Texas in Live Oak and McMullen counties; and
- Midcontinent region in Oklahoma in Alfalfa, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Harper and Woods counties.
Bidding for the BLM parcels 1-57 begins at 9 a.m. CST on Dec. 5 and will last two hours. Bidding for the remaining parcels will begin at 9 a.m. on Dec. 6 and also last for two hours.
