Description
Crescent Point Energy Corp. completed a horizontal Uteland Butte (Lower Green River) producer in the Uinta Basin. The #2-18-3-1E-H4 Kendall is in Section 7-3s-1e of Uintah County, Utah. It initially flowed 310 bbl of oil with 211 Mcf of gas and 703 bbl of water per day. It was drilled to the south to 13,561 ft and it bottomed in Section 18-3s-1e with a true vertical depth of 8,358 ft. It was tested on a 14/64-in. choke and production is from an undisclosed fractured horizontal Uteland Butte interval. The new producer is on the northwestern flank of Independence Field. Crescent Point’s headquarters are in Calgary.
