LLOG Exploration is drilling the first test on the company’s two-block Moby Dick prospect in the eastern part of Mississippi Canyon Block 387 at #1 OCS G22873. Water depth in the area is 6,600 ft. According to the Covington, La.-based company’s exploration plan, a second test could be drilled on adjacent Block 386 (OCS G34438). The venture is south of LLOG’s Delta House facility on Block 254.
