Description

Three horizontal Bakken exploratory tests were completed from a common drillpad in Section 27-27n-57e in Roosevelt County, Mont., by Houston-based Kraken Operating LLC. The #27-28-1H Fallon flowed 1.072 Mbbl of oil, 908 Mcf of gas and 3.105 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral extending nearly 2 miles to the west to 20,332 ft (9,868 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 28-27n-57e. It was tested following acid cleanup and fracture stimulation between 10,237 and 20,286 ft. The #34-33-1H Shayla flowed 1.043 Mbbl of oil, 844 Mcf of gas and 2.964 Mbbl of water per day. It was tested following acidizing and fracturing at 10,247-20,248 ft. The Bakken lateral was drilled to the southwest to 20,323 ft (9,848 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 33-27n-57e. The #35-36-1H Farrah flowed 999 bbl of oil, 761 Mcf of gas and 3.157 Mbbl of water per day from an acidized and fractured interval at 10,355-20,043 ft. It was drilled to 20,043 ft, 9,916 ft true vertical. The lateral was drilled about 2 miles to the southeast and bottomed in Section 36-27n-57e.
