Encana Corp. completed a horizontal Haynesville producer in Red River-Bull Bayou Field. The new producer, #1 Rex Young 21H, flowed 25.7 million cu. ft. of gas and 17 bbl. of water per day from perforations at 12,621-16,534 ft. The well is in Section 29-14n-11w of Red River Parish, La. On a 24/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 8,523 psi after drilling to 16,625 ft., 12,226 ft. true vertical. The log tops reported are Hosston at 6,553 ft., Bossier at 10,387 ft. and Haynesville at 12,550 ft.
