Description
A Glen Rose oil well was completed along the northern edge of Comanche-Halsell Field by Houston-based CMR Energy LP. The discovery is in Maverick County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas, at #1021E Comanche Ranch. It flowed 392 bbl of 41.1-degree-gravity crude per day from an openhole interval at 6,107-6,264 ft. Tested on a 9/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 760 psi. The 6,265-ft well was drilled on a 95,249-acre Maverick Basin lease in Section 21, GC&SF RR Co Survey, A-1010.
