Description
Five permits have been filed for Spraberry Trend horizontal tests in the Midland Basin in Howard County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, by Midland, Texas-based Legacy Reserves Operating LP. The ventures will be in Section 1, Block 32 T1N, T&P RR Co Survey, A-128. The #1SH and #1WH Beach A will be drilled from offsetting surface locations. The parallel laterals will bottom about 2 miles to the north-northwest in Section 48, Block 32 T2N, T&P Survey, A-1182. The respective true vertical depths are 8,000 ft and 8,500 ft, with apparent objectives in Spraberry or Wolfcamp. From the same pad, the company has staked #2SH Beach B. It has a planned true vertical depth of 8,000 ft and runs parallel to the Beach A laterals. About one-quarter mile to the northeast will be #3SH Beach C and #4SH Beach D. Both tests are expected to be drilled to true vertical depths of 8,000 ft and will bottom 2 miles to the north-northwest.
