Description

IHS Markit reported that Denver-based PDC Energy Corp. completed an extended-lateral horizontal Wolfcamp producer in the Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, portion of Phantom Field. The #1H Kenosha 4441 flowed 1.12 Mbbl of 52-degree-gravity oil, 6.307 MMcf of gas and 3.954 Mbbl of water per day. The 20,056-ft well has a true vertical depth of 10,468 ft and was completed after acidizing and fracturing at 11,040-20,370 ft. Tested on a 40/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,125 psi. The well is on a 640-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 43, Block 4, H&GN RR Co Survey, A-402, and it bottomed about 2 miles to the northeast in Section 41.
