Tetra Techonologies Inc., The Woodlands, Texas, (NYSE: TTI) has added two heavy lift derrick barges to its offshore well abandonment and decommissioning fleet. The derrick barge DB-1 was purchased from Offshore Specialty Fabricators Inc. for $20 million. The other acquired barge is the Anna IV, which the company has chartered on a long-term basis.
