Kosmos Energy Ltd. announced on April 26 that it has appointed three new directors to its board. In addition, the board will be losing a director, Richard Dearlove, who has decided not to run for re-election upon the end of his ongoing term.
"We are grateful for [Dearlove’s] significant contributions as Kosmos transformed from a frontier explorer into a full-cycle deepwater exploration and production company with diversified production, world-class LNG developments and infrastructure-led exploration," said Andrew G. Inglis, chairman of the board and CEO of Kosmos Energy.
The three new directors include Maria Morus Hanssen, who has over three decades of expertise in the upstream energy industry, John Grant, a veteran of the British Foreign Service and who has extensive experience in the energy and mining industries and J. Mike Stice, who brings decades of expertise in upstream and midstream gas to the Kosmos Energy Board.
Kosmos Energy is an independent oil and gas E&P company with assets offshore Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and the Gulf of Mexico, among others. The company was founded in 2003 and is based along the Atlantic Margins.
