Five States Energy Co. LLC, Dallas, an independent oil and gas company, has hired Energy Spectrum Advisors Inc., Dallas, to divest operated oil and gas interests in the Sand Hills Field in Crane County, Texas. Five States Energy owns an approximate 95% working interest in the properties and recent gross wellhead production was 110 barrels of oil per day and 2 million cubic feet of gas per day. The gas from the properties has a relatively high Btu content and is processed by a third party. The production is from 66 completions in the Judkins, McKnight and Tubb formations ranging from 2,500 to 4,800 feet. First States Energy estimates remaining total proved reserves of 2.35 million barrels of oil and 12.3 billion cubic feet of gas, for a total of 4.4 million barrels of oil equivalent as of Feb. 1.
