The wildcat, #1 Indigo 6-5, produced 138 bbl. of 39.6-degree gravity oil and 4,000 cu. ft. of gas per day. Drilled to 15,435 ft., production comes from Washita-Fredericksburg perforations at 7,959-65 ft. Gauged on a 6/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 570 psi and the gas-oil ratio was 29:1 with no reported formation water. The well was perforated at 15,050-60 ft. and acidized but no details were provided on the deeper reservoir. The discovery is surrounded primarily by deeper Smackover producers. Venture's headquarters are in Laurel, Miss.
