Jefferies & Co. Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group Inc., New York, (NYSE: JEF) reports Frank D. Bracken III has moved to the firm's oil and gas investment-banking group, Randall & Dewey, and will be based in the Houston office. Bracken joined Jefferies in 1999 and has covered E&P. Prior to Jefferies, he was with Prudential Securities, Southcoast Capital Corp. and Howard Weil & Co. He also was chief financial officer and a director of Gerrity Oil & Gas and the senior energy analyst and portfolio manager of the Fidelity Select Energy Fund. Coverage of the E&P companies formerly covered by Bracken will be assumed by research analysts David C. Adams and Leo P. Mariani Jr, who have worked with Bracken for six and three years, respectively. Jeffries also has named senior equity research analyst David R. Tameron head of the equity research group covering U.S. E&P companies. Senior analyst Charles W. Sharp, who joined Jefferies International Ltd. in August 2005, is responsible for coverage of U.K. E&P companies. The group collectively provides equity research coverage on more than 50 E&P companies globally.
