The 2018 Louisiana Energy Conference will be held on May 29 through June 1 at the Westin Canal Place Hotel in New Orleans and will again feature two full days of topical panels on May 30 to May 31 that will address key U.S. and international energy industry developments and topics. There will be field trip oppourtinities to a variety of offshore and onshore industry facilities on June 1.
Oil prices have improved significantly in the last year and the industry is increasingly optimistic; however, most companies have been guarded in their response to expanding their business. At the conference you will hear from executive management from both public and private companies, with a primary focus on E&P and oil field services, to learn more about their 2018 activity levels and capital expenditure budgets, and what their expectations are for the future. Several panels of private equity firms and banking institutions will also discuss their views on energy investing. The addition of private company executives to the panels continues to add a unique dimension to the discussion of key industry issues.
