Description

In the Powder River Basin, two extended-reach horizontal Turner producers were completed from a common drillpad in Section 16-40n-72w in Converse County, Wyo., by EOG Resources Inc. The #36-1621H Mary’s Draw flowed 857 bbl of 52-degree-gravity oil, 3.03 MMcf of gas and 1.62 Mbbl of water per day. The horizontal lateral in Turner extends from 9,328 ft to the southeast to 20,350 ft, 10,762 ft true vertical. It bottomed in Section 21-40n-72w. It was tested on a 15/64-in. choke following 35-stage fracturing between 11,318 and 20,169 ft. The #433-1621H Mary’s Draw flowed 992 bbl of 52.7-degree-gravity oil, 1.994 MMcf of gas and 1.266 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral extending to the southwest to 20,593 ft, 10,807 ft true vertical. It bottomed in Section 21-40n-72w and was tested on a 17/64-in. choke after a 35-stage fracturing between 11,618 and 20,476 ft.
