Description

In Section 30-25s-34e of Lea County, N.M., Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. has completed four horizontal Wolfcamp producers on its Hound 30 Federal lease. According to IHS Markit, #701H Hound 30 Federal flowed 2.926 Mbbl of crude, 3.049 MMcf of gas and 7.740 Mbbl of water per day following a 31-stage fracture stimulation through perforations at 12,754-19,739 ft. Tested on a 48/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,199 psi. It was drilled to the south to 19,838 ft with a lateral that bottomed in Section 31 at a true vertical depth of 12,601 ft. The offsetting #702H Hound 30 Federal flowed 2.907 Mbbl of oil, 3.902 MMcf of gas and 6.956 Mbbl of water daily through perforations at 12,917-19,741 ft. It was drilled to the south to 19,855 ft, 12,598 ft true vertical, and was tested after 30-stage fracturing. Within one-half mile to the east, two south-trending wells were drilled from a separate pad. The #703H Hound 30 Federal flowed 3.181 Mbbl of oil, 6.639 MMcf of gas and 10.339 Mbbl of water daily from fracture-treated perforations at 12,789-19,776 ft. Total depth is 19,890 ft, 12,625 ft true vertical. The #704H Hound 30 Federal flowed 3.455 Mbbl of crude, 6.439 MMcf of gas and 9.812 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 19,862 ft, 12,654 ft true vertical, and production is from 31-stage fracturing at 12,852-19,747 ft. Gauged on a 1-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,065 psi.
