Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Results from an offshore Mexico venture by Rome-based Eni at #2-Mizton in the Bay of Campeche increased the in-place resource estimate for Contractual Area 1 to 1.4 Bbbl of oil equivalent. The well was drilled to 3,430 m and is in 33 m of water. It encountered a 185-m net oil pay zone in Orca in an excellent quality sandstone reservoir. Well data indicate a single 280-m column of 28- to 30-degree-gravity oil. The well will be temporarily suspended and the rig will be moved to the Tecoalli discovery. The field was previously estimated to contain 350 MMboe of in-place oil will be included in the development plan of Area 1 (Eni 100%).
