Description
A Smackover oil completion was announced by Sklar Exploration Co. LLC along the southeastern edge of Brooklyn Field. Located in Section 2-3n-13e of Conecuh County, Ala., #1 Cedar Creek Land & Timber 2-15 was tested pumping 60 bbl of 47.3-degree-gravity crude, 52 Mcf of gas and 10 bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 11,708-18 ft. The directional well was drilled to 12,075 ft and a true vertical depth of 12,003 ft. In the same part of Brooklyn Field, Fletcher Petroleum has also completed two producers in Section 2. In 2017, Fletcher’s #1 Pate 2-12 was tested flowing 480 bbl of 46.8-degree-gravity crude and 360 Mcf of gas per day from Smackover at 11,651-71 ft, and in 2016, Fletcher’s #2-5 Findley flowed 350 bbl of 47.7-degree-gravity crude and 84 Mcf of gas per day from acid-treated perforations at 11,580-94 ft.
