Description
According to IHS Markit, a three-section, Stack play well was completion by Devon Energy Co. in Kingfisher County, Okla. The well, #1XX Cassowary 3_27-16N-8W, was drilled in Section 3-15n-8w to 23,314 ft and the lateral bottomed in Section 27-16n-8w. The true vertical depth is 8,582 ft. It initially flowed 2.065 Mbbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 7.37 MMcf of gas and 1.648 Mbbl of water per day from fractured Meramec perforations between 9,030 and 24,158 ft. The three-section, Anadarko Basin block contains a numerous vertical wells completed in Alpha Southeast Field between 1972 and 2012 that produce, or have produced, from reservoirs in Red Fork, Skinner, various Mississippian zones, Hunton, Viola and Wilcox. Devon is based in Oklahoma City.
