Description
A Talco Field-Delaware Basin well was completed by Caza Oil & Gas in Lea County, N.M. The #005H Sioux 36 State flowed 950 bbl of 38-degree-gravity oil, 753 Mcf of gas and 1.251 Mbbl of water per day from Bone Spring perforations at 12,325-16,728 ft. Gauged on a 35/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 840 psi. It is in Section 36-25s-35e and the lateral bottomed almost a mile to the south. The 16,905-ft well has a true vertical depth of 12,074 ft. Caza’s head-quarters are in Midland, Texas.
