Description
Two Tuscaloosa oil tests have been permitted by Day Dreams Resources LLC in Jefferson County, Miss. The #1 Pollak Unit will be in Fayette South Field and has a planned depth of 10,500 ft in Section 51-9n-1e. About 4 miles northeast of #1 Pollak Unit will be the proposed #1 Noble in Section 20-9n-1e. The Melton Field test is scheduled to be drilled to 10,500 ft. Melton Field was opened in 1978 and through 1996, output from the lower Tuscaloosa reservoir was 416.661 Mbbl of crude/condensate and 3.2 Bcf of gas. Day Dreams is based in Natchez, Miss.
