Description
Brigham Resources completed a record-setting Bakken well, #2-H Sorenson 29-32, in Mountrail County, N.D., that initially flowed 5,330 bbl. of oil equivalent per day. The producer is in Section 20-155n-92w and was tested in a two-section horizontal Middle Bakken lateral following 38 stages of fracture stimulation. The initial flowing potential reported by IHS Inc. was 4,661 bbl. of oil and 4.01 million cu. ft. of gas daily from the Alger Field completion. The #2-H Sorenson 29-32, was completed from the same drillpad as the Austin-based company's #1-H Cvancara 20-17. Addition drilling and completion information was not made available.
