Description
BP Plc, according to IHS Markit, has completed Wyoming’s first horizontal Fox Hills producer in an unnamed field off the northern flank of the Washakie Basin. Located in Section 29-23n-93w of Sweetwater County, #29-155H Chain Lakes was tested flowing 7.151 MMcf of gas, 736 bbl of 56-degree-gravity condensate and 1.349 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a horizontal lateral in Fox Hills extending from 12,289 ft southward 15,360 ft with a true vertical depth of 11,562 ft. It was fractured in 21 stages between 12,315 and 15,225 ft. Gauged on a 26/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 3,635 psi. BP is based in London.
