IHS Markit reported that Covey Park Gas LLC completed a high-volume Haynesville Shale gas well that was tested flowing 27.683 MMcf of gas and 235 bbl of water per day. The discovery, #1-Alt Benbow 4-33HC, is in Section 4-15n-11w in Louisiana’s Bossier Parish. The Elm Grove Field discovery is producing from facture-treated perforations at 12,083-21,164 ft. It was tested on a 40/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 7,205 psi. The horizontal well was drilled to 21,350 ft and bottomed to the north beneath in Section 33-16n-11w with a true vertical depth of 11,495 ft. Covey Park is based in Dallas.
