Description
A Pliocene test has been scheduled in Keathley Canyon Block 919 by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. on the Hadrian North development. The #8 OCS G21447 will be drilled by a drillship and area water depth is 7,400 ft. In 2017, Anadarko agreed with ExxonMobil Corp. to expand the Lucius unit to encompass Hadrian North on Block 919. The Lucius unit includes portions of Keathley Canyon blocks 874, 875, 918 and 919, and field production comes from eight active wells that produce from a range of Pliocene and Miocene zones at 16,940-19,910 ft. Cumulative production from January 2015 through February 2018 is 72.5 MMbbl of crude and 81 Bcf of gas. Anadarko is based in The Woodlands, Texas.
