Alta Mesa Services Ltd, based in Houston, has received a drilling permit for a 5,000-ft test in the Boise Basin’s Willow Field. According to IHS Markit, no objectives of #3-10 ML Investments have been disclosed. The well will be in Section 10-8n-4w of Payette County, Idaho. The venture is within 1 mile to the south of the Willow Field discovery, #1-10 ML Investments, which was completed in 2010 flowing 4.5 MMcf of 1,150-Btu gas and 54 bbl of 61.5-degree-gravity condensate per day, with no water, during tests of an undisclosed Pliocene Sand interval. The well was acquired by Alta Mesa and placed into production in 2015 and has produced 273.1 MMcf of gas, 6.256 Mbbl of condensate and 1.486 Mbbl of water through January 2016.
