Overview:
The new SEC reserve-reporting rules for U.S.-listed oil and gas producers are here and greatly affect reporting of probable and possible reserves. What types of public E&P companies are most advantaged by the new valuation dynamics? What are the going-forward reserve-analysis concerns created by new SEC-defined identification of these reserve categories? Do these new rules make U.S. producers more competitive in merging with non-U.S. firms by better streamlining how the assets of each are pre-evaluated? Experts will answer these questions and more in this informative webinar. This webinar will be moderated by Nissa Darbonne, Executive Editor, Oil and Gas Investor.

You will learn:
•The fundamental difference in the new and old SEC reporting requirements for U.S.-listed E&P companies, and what has been actual practice prior to adoption of the new rules
•How the new reporting standards will aid in the transparency of reserves data, for purposes of valuation, in crossborder transactions
•How sellers and buyers may value U.S. reserves, and reserves held by U.S.-listed companies, going forward.
