J. Ross Craft, CEO of Approach Resources Inc., said the company has drilled close to 600 wells. When it started examining the Wolfcamp, it discovered-after drilling three wells-that the Midland Basin does extend down to northern Crockett County, Texas. The thickest portion of the basin is about 1,200 feet. There are 118 million barrels of oil equivalent of reserves, per section, in place.
