Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Houston-based EOG Resources Inc. completed two high-volume Wolfcamp oil wells in irregular Section 36-26s-33e of Lea County, N. M. The #701H Endurance 36 State Com is producing 2.418 Mbbl of 47-degree-gravity crude, 4.482 MMcf of gas and 8.347 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 12,786-19,833 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 1,464 psi during testing on an open choke. The Upper Wolfcamp producer was drilled to 19,957 ft, 12,585 ft, true vertical, and bottomed to the north in Section 25. An offsetting parallel, #704H Endurance 36 State Com, was tested flowing 1.584 Mbbl of 47-degree-gravity oil, 2.979 MMcf of gas and 5.112 Mbbl of water per day from acidized and fracture-treated perforations at 12,796-19,821 ft. It was drilled to 19,922 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,856 ft. During testing on an open choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,096 psi.
