Sidley Austin LLP added three partners to the energy and M&A practices at its Washington, D.C. office, the law firm said Feb. 17.
Karen A. Dewis, Kenneth W. Irvin and Daryl L. Rice joined the office.
Irvin and Rice work in energy trading and marketing, hedging and derivatives transactions. They also represent clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Dewis handles transactions including M&A, joint ventures and spinoffs.
As a team, they have represented U.S. and international financial institutions, multinational companies, independent power producers, investment funds, oil and natural gas companies, private-equity funds, trade associations, commodity marketers and exchange and clearing organizations.
