On May 5, middle-market credit lender Tennenbaum Capital Partners LLC said that Brad Pritchard joined its energy technology group.
Pritchard has more than 20 years’ experience in energy technology, six of which have been in energy financing, the company said.
“We are delighted Brad is joining our energy technology group,” said Rajneesh Vig, who is managing partner of Tennenbaum. Vig is also president and COO of TCP Capital Corp., a business development company managed by Tennenbaum, the company added.
Vig added, “His extensive background in this industry will be a tremendous asset as we originate investments in this sector.”
“I look forward to working with the talented investment professionals at Tennenbaum,” said Pritchard.
Pritchard added, “I’m excited about the opportunity to help build the energy technology practice and to help our portfolio companies grow.”
Additionally, Pritchard will be a managing director He most recently served as a managing director of Hercules Technology Growth Capital, (NYSE: HTGC) which he joined in 2011, the company said. Prior to that, he led Wells Fargo Securities LLC’s clean technology investment banking, Tennenbaum added.
He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, and also holds a bachelor of arts from the University of California-Berkeley, the company said.
