SM Energy Co. (NYSE: SM) appointed David W. Copeland as executive vice president and John Monark as senior vice president of human resources.
Copeland has been with the company since January 2011. Monark has been with the company since May 2008. Copeland will continue to serve as the company’s general counsel and corporate secretary.
SM Energy Co. is an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and NGLs. The company is headquartered in Denver.
