IHS Markit reported that three horizontal Wolfcamp tests have been permitted by Santo Operating LLC in the Delaware Basin in Lea County, N.M. The #1H Ocotillo Sunrise 15 has a proposed total depth of 17,500 ft and will be in Section 15-25s-34e. A north-trending lateral will bottom at a true vertical depth of 12,646 ft and a successful Wolfcamp completion would extend Pitchfork Ranch South Field to the east. In Section 15, are the operator’s planned #2H and #3H Ocotillo Sunrise 15. These north-trending horizontal tests will run parallel to #1H Ocotillo Sunrise 15 with similar proposed depths and objectives. Santo Operating’s headquarters are in Artesia, N.M.
