Sanchez Energy Corp. (NYSE: SN) priced $300 million, in aggregate principal amount, of senior notes in a private offering, the company said Sept. 9.
The 6.125% notes are due 2023, at 100.75% of their principal amount, the company said, adding that the offer was upsized from $250 million in aggregate principal amount.
The net proceeds will support general corporate purposes including working capital, the company said.
The offer is expected to close on Sept. 12, Sanchez noted.
The notes were issued under the indenture for outstanding 6.125% notes due 2023, the company said.
Houston-based Sanchez Energy Corp. operates in the Tuscaloosa Marine and Eagle Ford Shales.
