Rod and Tubing Services, LLC (“RTS”), a provider of lifecycle management services for tubing and sucker rods, opened its newest facility in Midland, TX, the company said Nov. 16.
The new location offers comprehensive tubing inspection, reconditioning, repair and inventory management services to oil and gas operators in the Permian Basin.
Drilling and completing an oil well in the Permian can cost up to $7 million with production expected to decline rapidly in the first 36 months. To maximize investment returns operators must focus on reducing both operating costs and premature well failures.
RTS’s inspection services enable the cost-effective redeployment of used material and the removal of impaired material. Most notably, RTS offers data analytics through its proprietary online system, Hawkeye DMSTM. The system addresses the needs of both production engineers and supply chain personnel seeking real-time access to inventory availability and inspection information. RTS also features an in-house engineering advisory group that offers tailored analytical support for its customers.
Rod and Tubing Services LLC is headquartered in Houston.
