RSP Permian Inc. (RSPP) appointed Kenneth V. Huseman to its board of directors, the company said May 20. Huseman will serve a three-year term, replacing David Albin of Natural Gas Partners on the board.
Huseman has 35 years’ experience in North America’s oil and gas industry, primarily in oilfield services.
From June 2011 to February 2013, he was a director at Natural Gas Services Group Inc. From 1999 until September 2013, he was the president and CEO of Basic Energy Services. He also was a director at Basic.
He also worked at Key Energy Services, WellTech Inc. and Pool Energy Services Co.
Huseman has a bachelor’s in business administration degree from Texas Tech University.
RSP's shareholders also re-elected Ted Collins Jr. and Michael W. Wallace each for another three-year term.
"We are delighted to add Ken to our board of directors," said Steve Gray, RSP's CEO and director. "Ken brings a tremendous depth of oil and gas experience to the board, and his knowledge of, and relationships in, the oilfield services industry will prove a valuable asset to our already-strong board. We would also like to thank David and NGP for their support of RSP and their help in positioning the company for future growth and success."
Dallas-based RSP Permian operates in the West Texas Permian Basin.
