Ring Energy Inc. has received permits for two horizontal San Andres tests on the Central Basin Platform of the Permian Basin. In Gaines County (RRC Dist. 8A), Texas, #1H Tiberius has a planned true vertical depth of 4,900 ft. It will be in Section 18, Block A22, PSL Survey, A-1786. A lateral will be drilled about 1.5 miles to the northwest, bottoming in Section 13, Block A22, PSL Survey, A-1577. To the southeast, in Andrews County, #1H Caesar will be drilled in Section 8, Block A34, PSL Survey, A-684. It will have a lateral of approximately 1.5 miles and will bottom in Gaines County under Section 23, Block A22, PSL Survey, A-2090. Both tests will be in Harris Field and are generally east of an ongoing horizontal San Andres program operated by Parallel Petroleum LLC. Ring Energy’s headquarters are in Midland, Texas.
