According to IHS, FH Petroleum Corp., based in Billings, Mont., has scheduled 22 horizontal Niobrara/Codell exploratory tests on the northern flank of the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Laramie County, Wyo. All wells are proposed as two-section projects, will be drilled on the company’s Deselms leases from four common drillpads in sections 19-17n-63w and 24-17n-64w. In Section 19-17n-63w will be six wells, #17-63-19-30-1CH, #2CH and #3CH projected to depths between 17,833 and 17,973 ft (7,923-37 ft true vertical) in Codell at bottom-hole locations in Section 30-17n-63w. The #17-63-19-30-1NH, #2NH and #3NH are projected to depths between 17,634 and 17,732 ft (7,716-29 ft true vertical) in Niobrara at bottom-hole locations in Section 30-17n-63w. In Section 19-17n-63w will be five wells, #17-63-19-30-4CH, #5CH and #6CH and have projected depths between 17,903 and 17,964 ft (7,889-7,906 ft true vertical) in Codell at bottom-hole locations Section 30-17n-63w. The #17-63-19-30-4NH and #5NH are projected to 17,703 and 17,735 ft (7,693-7,701 ft true vertical) in Niobrara at bottom-hole locations in Section 30-17n-63w. In Section 24-17n-64w will be five wells, #17-64-24-13-1CH, #2CH and #3CH and are projected between 17,841 and 18,022 ft (7,987-8,006 ft true vertical) in Codell at bottom-hole locations in Section 13-17n-64w.
