Regency Energy Partners LP (NYSE: RGP) sold 14.4 million common units to ETE Common Holdings LLC for $400 million in equity, the company said June 4.
ETE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Transfer Equity LP, which owns Regency’s general partner, the company said.
Proceeds will pay the partnership’s revolving credit facility borrowings, redeem some senior notes and also support general corporate purposes, Regency said.
