Energy holding company Quantum Energy Inc. retained natural resources consulting firm Casimir Resource Advisors LLC (CRA) under a strategic services agreement.
CRA advised Quantum on its recent acquisition of a oil and gas project with about 3,000 acres and 89 wellbores in the Texas Panhandle along with a roughly- 5% working interest in a heavy oil project in Missouri.
Stan Wilson, Quantum’s chairman, said Casimir, which is an affiliate of an energy investment bank based in Greenwich, Conn., has introduced Quantum to other large, promising acquisitions.
Quantum continues its Bakken refinery development projects with ongoing permitting efforts in North Dakota and is also working on a project in Saskatchewan, Canada.
