Rick D. Powers was appointed vice president, CFO and treasurer of Enhanced Oil Resources Inc., the company said July 31. He replaces W. Kyle Willis, who will retire.
Powers has more than 30 years’ experience in public accounting and in the energy industry. He has handled financial management, auditing, accounting and M&A.
He was a national energy practice audit partner at UHY LLP’s Houston office from 1997 to 2007.
He was also principal financial officer for a private E&P company and an oilfield manufacturer.
Powers is a certified public accountant and member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He has a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University .
Enhanced Oil Resources Inc. is based in Houston, and owns and operates the Milnesand and Chavaroo oil fields in New Mexico.
