Description

A horizontal Cretaceous Turner Sand exploratory test on the southern flank of the Powder River Basin by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. initially flowed 1.188 Mbbl of 50-degree-gravity oil, 1.841 MMcf of gas and 125 bbl of water per day. The #3569-36-T2H Trinity-State is in Section 36-35n-69w of Converse County, Wyo. It is producing from a horizontal lateral extending from 8,290 ft northward to 14,675 ft. The true vertical depth is 10,266 ft. It was tested on a 15/64-in. choke following 14-stage fracturing at 10,748-14,571 ft, and the flowing casing pressure was 3,100 psi.
