Description
Two Arkoma Basin-Woodford producers were announced by PetroQuest Energy Inc: the wells were drilled from a common drillpad in Section 18-7n-18e of Pittsburg County, Okla. The #3-18H Kemp was tested on an open choke flowing 9.59 MMcf of gas and 1.370 Mbbl of water per day from an acidized and fracture-stimulated lateral at 8,565-13,481 ft. The Quinton District well was drilled north across the section to 13,660 ft, 7,795 ft true vertical. About 70 ft south on the pad, #2-18H Kemp flowed 8.94 MMcf cu ft of gas and 1.840 Mbbl of water during testing an open choke. It has a parallel lateral extending to 13,390 ft, 7,763 ft true vertical. The new wells are the easternmost horizontal Woodford producers in the county. PetroQuest’s headquarters are in Tulsa.
