Parsley Energy Inc. (NYSE: PE) said July 5 it appointed Stephanie Reed as the Permian Basin-focused company's senior vice president of land.

"Stephanie's expertise and favorable reputation throughout the industry have facilitated numerous transactions and helped ensure that Parsley derives maximum value from the company's leasehold. An essential member of the Parsley team for years, Stephanie earned this promotion through her outstanding leadership of the land department to date. I look forward to her ongoing contributions as we continue to consolidate and develop our premier acreage position," Bryan Sheffield, Parsley's chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
