Description
Walter Oil & Gas Corp. reported an Oligocene gas well in Cameron Parish, La. The High Island Field discovery, #1 Miami Corporation 32, is flowing 2.5 MMcf of gas, 13 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil and one bbl of water per day. Production is from perforations at 16,155-16,210 ft. was tested on a 4/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 10,000 psi. The directional well was drilled to 16,545 ft and is in Section 32-13s-7w, with a 5 1/2-in. liner set on bottom. Walter’s headquarters are in Houston.
