The high-volume producer is on the Nesson Anticline in Section 4-152n-96w of McKenzie County, N.D. The well had a 24-hour average of 5,200 bbl. of oil equivalent per day. Production comes from a 5,300-ft. horizontal lateral in Middle Bakken extending from 10,710 ft. northward to 16,003 ft. Flow was gauged on a 36/64-in. choke with a tubing pressure of 2,040 psi. It was tested following 26 stages of fracture stimulation. Newfield's headquarters are in Houston.
