Description

A Cambridge Arch discovery in Dundy County, Neb., was announced by Murfin Drilling Co. The #1-2 Connie in Section 2-2n-38w initially pumped 47 bbl of 35-degree-gravity oil and 34 bbl of water per day. Production is from an acidized Lansing-Kansas City E interval perforated at 4,458-66 ft. It was drilled and cased to 5,069 ft. A drillstem test run between 4,415 and 4,475 ft recovered 954 ft of gas in the pipe, 1,176 ft of gassy free oil (80% oil), 15 ft of oil cut mud and 59 ft of oil cut watery mud. Between April 2015 and February 2016, the discovery produced 7.8 Mbbl of oil and 11 Mbbl of water. Murfin’s headquarters are in Wichita, Kan.
