Description

Stavanger-based Statoil has completed two Bakken and one Three Forks producers at a multi-well Alger Field pad in Mountrail County, N.D. The #5H Bures 20-29, Section 20-155n-93w, flowed 3.711 Mbbl of oil, 3.859 MMcf of gas and 3.87 Mbbl of water per day from a horizontal Middle Bakken interval at 10,797-20,610 ft following 39-stage fracturing. Tested on a 50/64-in. choke, the casing pressure was 1,000 psi. The 20,644-ft well was drilled about two miles south-southwestward and bottomed in Section 29-155-93w with a true vertical depth of 10,577 ft. The #3H Bures 20-29 flowed 3.231 bbl of oil, 3.165 MMcf of gas and 4.28 Mbbl of water from Middle Bakken after 36-stage fracturing. Tested on a 44/64-in. choke between 10,714 and 20,254 ft, the flowing casing pressure was 1,160 psi. The 20,254-ft well was drilled southward and bottomed in Section 29-155n-93w and the true vertical depth is 10,572 ft. A Three Forks B2 zone producer at the pad, #6TFH Bures 20-29, flowed 3.468 Mbbl of crude, 3.474 MMcf of gas and 3.58 Mbbl of water per day. It was tested on a 50/64-in. choke following a 38-stage fracturing between 10,826 ft and 20,646 ft. Production is from a lateral extending south-southwestward and a bottomhole location in Section 29-155n-93w. The true vertical depth is 10,748 ft.
