Description
A development test has been permitted by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. in the company’s producing Caesar/Tonga Field. Located in Green Canyon Block 727, #3 OCS G16783 will be drilled in 4,600 ft of water. The Caesar/Tonga development is comprised of Green Canyon blocks 683, 726, 727 and 770. South of Caesar/Tonga is Anadarko’s expanding Heidelberg Field, where the company has an ongoing development drilling program. Reservoir recovery comes from Miocene perforations at 26,400-28,000 ft.
